University Studies in Paris

American University Study Abroad Program

Students in Paris

Atelier Atlantis is affiliated with the Paris Institute of Creative Arts, offering American university credit-bearing classes in English. PICA has a selection of semester-length classes in the Fall and Spring semesters as well as intensive short-term classes in January and during the Summer months. Classes include a range of studio art classes (photo, printmaking, drawing and painting) as well as art history, French language and other humanities classes.

We are open to signing up individual students for one or more classes in any of the areas we offer classes. Students must be at least 18 years of age and have completed their high school studies. Classes can be taken for credit (issued by Whittier College in California) or non-credit. Each class typically offers between three and four semester-length credits and these credits can be transferred to fill required coursework at your current or future university in the United States.

For American study abroad programs in Paris that wish to offer their students classes in the arts and art history, the PICA program can be a great way to offer your students direct access to the art world with classes in the studios of our artists or working with professional art history scholars who have been studying Paris museum art collections for years.
