Van Dyke Brown Photo Workshop (en français)
The Van Dyke Brown process is a very beautiful 19th century photographic printing process that allows for the creation of rich and detailed brown colored prints working from enlarged digital negatives (or large format film negatives). This process offers an excellent level of detail and contrast for a 19th century photo printing process while being a relatively simple process to master and much cheaper than working with the palladium or platinum processes. Students will bring their own digital images which we will prepare together in Photoshop before printing enlarged negatives on transparent material to be used to make final van dyke brown prints.
